Your role
As Valuation and Reporting Manager your main responsibilities will involve
Under general direction, supports the actuarial valuation and development of effective methodologies and strategies in support of business objectives.
Is able to explain and analyze movements in actuarial balances arising from the results of the actuarial valuation.
Provides consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
Demonstrates an effective understanding of an appropriate controls environment for the actuarial valuation and contributes to the completion and enhancements of controls, including those required for compliance with the Internal Controls Framework.
Manage administration of reinsurance treaties.
Provide actuarial resources or input to ad-hoc projects as required by Zurich.
Your Skills and Experience
As Valuation and Reporting Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Indonesia (ASAI)
Minimal 5 years of experience in the life and financial services industry.
Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in, actuarial work in a life insurance and financial services context, including relevant legislation regulatory requirements.
Strong working knowledge of, and application of, the financial and market dynamics of the life insurance and financial services business.
Strong analytical ability, with an ability to balance this with a commercial understanding of the business.
Good communication skills
